This example, Amara, is no exception: The subtle layering of a sophisticated color palette, chic luxurious linen texture, and brilliant embroidery of a traditional damask motif, creates the contemporary feel. The embroidered medallions use silky lapis blue and parchment beige threads in a stripe effect on parchment linen. On the reverse is a crisp polished linen in parchment beige, while a thick brush fringe in lapis blue with both matte and shiny threads help the motifs pop.
