William Morris Melsetter Botanical 14 x 22 Rectangle Decorative Pillow with Down Feather Insert

This beautifully printed design of birds and flowerheads trailing a central fruit tree was inspired by a version of the Kelmscott Manor bed hangings crafted for Melsetter House in Scotland. Now translated into a print, this design by Morris & Co. has been painted to create a fresco effect in soft mossy blues and greens and warm golden yellow on wispy grey linen, reflecting the landscape of the Scottish Orkney Islands. A soft green rope unites the two sides. Really lovely!
