A sophisticated contemporary design weaves parallel lines that move together, back and forth, zigzagging in shades of grey - silky oyster, titanium, and charcoal - on a soft dove grey textured background. Although zig zag patterns do appear on ancient pottery, they are still used in contemporary design: zig zag is widely recognized as the signature pattern of the Italian fashion house, Missoni.
