Sanderson Country House Moody Teal Floral 20 x 20 Decorative Pillow with Down/Feather Insert

This is a stunning vintage floral, never-used, sourced from  a collector, printed  by Sanderson, probably 1960’s. Sanderson, a quintessesntially British country houise design firm, founded in 1860, is known for an elegant touch to classic English designs boldly reinterpreted from historic archives, and this design is typical of that aesthetic. Instead of the more obvious pastel chintz patterns, this design features lively full-blown blossoms in moody shades of blue-grey and warm whites, with olive and moss green leaves on a rich teal blue textured linen ground.  On the reverse is a coordinating luscious teal blue velvet from Designers Guild. The special texture and moody color makes this design work well in traditional as well as less traditional decor, even modern farmhouse and cottegecore settings. Truly striking!
